Falcon Shocks are the brainchild of the team behind Teraflex Suspension, a group with years of experience custom tuning Fox 2.0s for optimal ride and performance. Eventually, Teraflex decided to bring this expertise in-house, leading to the development of Falcon Shocks, a testament to their commitment to quality and performance​​. These shocks are renowned for their extremely predictable handling, thanks to carefully tuned compression and rebound, ensuring a stable and controlled ride in various conditions.

The tuning philosophy of Falcon Shocks involves a rigorous process, beginning with baseline setting and followed by weeks of daily driving to identify any performance gaps. The shock absorber systems undergo 2-6 months of testing and tuning, with hundreds of hours invested by in-house engineers to ensure each system meets Falcon’s high-performance targets. This extensive process results in optimal tuning that can be felt directly by the user​​.

Innovative features like Volume Optimized Damping (VOD) and Zone Rate Tuning (ZRT) set Falcon Shocks apart. VOD uses a digressive linear valve to enhance vehicle feedback, stability, and control across driving conditions, while ZRT manipulates factory spring tuning to produce distinct performance zones for various driving scenarios. These technologies work together to eliminate common issues like top-out clunk and excessive body roll, ensuring a smooth and responsive ride​​.
