I've seen a video, how to adjust the front shocks when installing, to level my 2007 FJ to rear . The rear say 0"-2" adjustable. How do I keep original height and how do you adjust them to keep that original height? I don't see adjusting rings like front ones?

Answer nowi have a 2008 4runner 4WD with 1" Daystar coil spacers in the front OEM springs (which apparently provide 2" of lift). very interested in improving my ride with the 5100's. my 4runner is now level but with all the weight due to cargo in the back, my front end is now higher, which i hate.
if i keep my stock springs for now and were to set my 5100's to 2" in the front, can i put the daystar 1" coil spacers in the rear on top of the 5100's to give it slight rake so that when the back of my car is loaded, i'm more or less level? thanks!

Can't say exactlyA I would double check the orientation of the bushings and metal pieces to make sure they were put on right. If you are looking to raise the rear also, you would need rear lifted coils. Front shocks can lift the vehicle with the snap ring setting.Hello
I have a 2003 4runner limited. I want to get rid of areas as I have one leaking shock and it sucks!
I would like to lift the truck about 2" in the front and around 1"-1.5" in the back. I would like to retain the factory springs if possible. What is the best way to accomplish this using bilstein components. I am assuming the factory rake will be corrected by approx. 1/2" o.a. giving the truck a more"level" look.
Will I need coil spacers?
Also I am planning on 1.25" wheel spacers and would like to run 275/70/r17 bfgs.I could use some advise?Thanks

That system is blown and i am replacing with the Bilstein 5100 shocks. Since I am replacing the shocks, i want to replace the front springs as well. I have read several threads about choosing right spring/coil for the shocks. The goal is to use the adjustable 5100 in combination with the coil/spring to lift/level the front end. So, my question is which spring/coil is best suited to match up with the 5100 ride height adjustable shock, and what setting should the front shock be on with said spring/coil choice.
