I bought these last year they have a valve plug at the top for adding a reservoir. I have a 6 inch pro-comp lift with drop brackets and these shocks ride really hard and rough every tiny bump I feel. I only drive on pavement and I installed these with factory preload right out of box they really suck any suggestions to get a softer ride out of these, can I add a remote adjustable resevoir? and will this help with dampening the shock for a softer ride? My truck is all stock except for the lift itself.

Read more answer nowA these will be good if you used 6'' spacers with your kitA There's no way a spacer is going to make the ride softer The recommended replacement shock above is meant to replace the MX 2,75 coilovers that originally come with a procomp 6" lift kit. and if your telling me a spacer is needed with theses then these are really not a replacement for them and now your selling bullshit. The truck sits exactly as it should right now with these Icons installed as it did with the MX 2.75 so adding spacer will add height I dont need or want and a stiffer ride I am asking how to get a softer ride?
