They seal out contaminants and prevent loss of lubricants. Finally, someone has made a replacement ball joint dust boot. No more expense or cost worries when the boot wears-out or is damaged either from installation or from day to day use. They resist damage from rocks, road salt, sand and water better than many rubber boots. Sets comes with two upper and two lower boots. Available in red or black color.
